When we at KHW Solutions Pvt. Ltd. were invited to collaborate at Design POV 2025, we knew we weren’t just participating in another design event—we were stepping into a curated experience that celebrates innovation, storytelling, and forward-thinking design.
Held annually, Design POV is one of India’s most prestigious showcases in the luxury architecture and interiors space. This year’s edition brought together a powerful mix of design studios, material innovators, and industry leaders to shape conversations around the future of architecture. Our collaboration with Atrey & Associates at Design POV 2025 brought together two distinct design perspectives to create a shared architectural statement.
The Beginning: How It All Came Together
Our journey began with a discussion between our team and Mr. Gagan Bhatia, Founder of Design POV. The theme for this year focused on sustainability, regional expression, and materials that tell a story—a vision that aligned seamlessly with what KHW Solutions stands for.
Soon after, we were introduced to Atrey & Associates, an award-winning architecture firm known for their contemporary yet contextually grounded designs. Their concept for the showcase included integrating organic textures and natural elements, and our Exotic Straw Thatch turned out to be the perfect fit.
The collaboration was not just technical—it was creative. The Atrey team saw value in the aesthetic authenticity and durability of our product, and we admired their ability to seamlessly weave our material into a spatial story.
Prepping for the Spotlight: Our Installation Journey
Designing for an exhibition like Design POV means creating something immersive—not just functional. In the weeks leading up to the event, our teams worked closely to ensure that the installation did justice to the vision.
Here’s what went into it:
- Product Customization: Our Exotic Straw Thatch was tailored to fit the design theme, including specific tones and textures to complement the structure.
- Material Testing & Delivery: We ensured fire-retardant, weatherproof materials were prepped and dispatched to the site ahead of time, maintaining the standards expected of luxury installations.
- Creative Coordination: Collaborating with architects meant aligning on visual flow, lighting, and how the thatch would interact with other materials in the space.
The result? A captivating installation that transported viewers into a world where traditional design meets future-ready innovation.
The Event: What We Saw, Felt & Learned
Design POV 2025 wasn’t just an event—it was an ecosystem of creativity. As soon as guests entered the venue, they were met with design experiences that challenged the norm. From light installations to raw textures, each space told a unique story.
In our installation with Atrey & Associates, visitors were drawn to the natural appeal of our Exotic Straw Thatch. Many were surprised to learn that it wasn’t real straw but a carefully engineered product designed for luxury spaces, hospitality projects, and outdoor venues.
Some of the highlights for us included:
- Industry Recognition: Architects, hoteliers, and designers expressed strong interest in how our product could be used for resorts, villas, cafés, and eco-retreats.
- Media Buzz: Although formal media coverage is still being finalized, we did see positive mentions and interest from representatives of Architectural Digest (A+D), Design Pataki, and India Today Homes.
- Brand Visibility: Our logo featured on the Brand Wall, and our partnership was acknowledged through on-site branding and a dedicated Instagram story by Design POV.
- Connections & Collaboration: We had meaningful interactions with professionals from across the country—designers, developers, and material consultants who are passionate about sustainable and innovative materials.
Why Our Product Stood Out
At KHW Solutions, we’ve built our reputation on synthetic thatch solutions that offer the best of both worlds—natural beauty and engineered performance. And this event was proof that designers are actively seeking such alternatives.
Our thatch drew attention because:
- It looks and feels like real straw, yet is more durable.
- It is eco-conscious, reducing dependence on natural harvesting.
- It is fire-safe, UV-stable, and low-maintenance—perfect for modern builds.
- It works across geographies—from coastal resorts in Goa to luxury getaways in the UAE.
Being able to explain these features to a live audience—many of whom were experiencing synthetic thatch for the first time—was incredibly rewarding.
Post-Event Plans: Keeping the Momentum Going
While the event is over, the story isn’t. We’re currently awaiting high-resolution images and video footage of the installation to begin our own post-event campaign, which will include:
- 2–3 social media posts showcasing the installation and event highlights
- A client testimonial or video snippet from Atrey & Associates
- A mini case study or brochure to share with prospective clients in hospitality and real estate
This collaboration will also be featured on our website’s project portfolio page soon.
Reflections & Gratitude

We’re deeply thankful to Design POV and Atrey & Associates for including us in this visionary event. It’s rare to find a space that values innovation, authenticity, and sustainable luxury in equal measure—and we’re proud to have contributed to that narrative.
